I hope everyone had a wonderul Thanksgiving and enjoyed some family time. November was a fun month. We planned our Thanksgiving feast and had a wonderful time getting ready for it. The students helped set the table and cleaned up after the feast. We had great table conversations and they all used their table manners. We had such a great time that we are planning on having a breakfast feast for our Hoilday party on Dec. 16..
Social Studies: 4th graders are studying about California missions. They are getting ready for our field trip to San Juan Bautista on Dec. 6. 5th graders are studying about the 13 Original Colonies and preparing for Walk through the American Revolution on Dec. 15. Math: We continue to make progress. The students continue to adjust to the new curriculum and terminology. Thank you for all your support with this new adoption. Language Arts: The last few weeks we have been studying similes. In the next couple of weeks we will be working on writing Haikus. That's it for now. |
